"If it's to be, it's up to me."

"If it's to be, it's up to me."

You don’t need to wait for external validation to move forward. You can give yourself internal validation to affirm your trust in yourself. You don't need to keep comparing (I know - challenging in this world that we live in) to others in order to validate yourself.

The key thing is to focus on what you want and do the things that serve you. You don’t want to build resentment for the things that you 'should have', 'could have' and 'would have.' You don’t need to be completely ‘ready’ to keep moving forward. You don't need things to be perfect before you take action. I know you want things to be perfect before you move forward and you are also getting in your own way.

So how can you get out of your own way and stop self-sabotaging yourself?

You do have to keep trusting yourself that you will figure it out along the way. Keep reminding yourself to keep taking massive action (from Tony Robbins), even if it's messy, chaotic, and scary.

Keep building your self-validation within and mind your own thoughts. Go deeper and do the inner work to see how you can keep improving yourself.

You are responsible for your own feelings, not anyone else’s feelings. It’s not your responsibility to take on other people’s emotions, so just keep working on your own. Keep working on removing yourself from other people's thoughts so that you can hear your own thoughts.

Focus on your journey.

If someone isn’t ready for change, that’s not on you. You don't have to convince them of your worth. If someone isn't committed to their own personal growth, then you get to decide whether this is the energy that you want to be a part of. You can say no. You can find other options that are more aligned with who you are.

Spend your time, energy, and focus on those who are ready, open and receptive to change, so that you protect your own energy and move in the direction of your dreams.
