How Career & Mindset Coaching Can Work For You

Have you considered investing in yourself to create and/or build the foundations for your success?

It may be scary, as you may not be sure about what you’re getting into with coaching. You may also have thoughts of uncertainty, anxiety, worry, and stress that consume you on a daily basis and you just don’t know what to do. So as you go round and round, consider what would happen if you gave yourself permission to receive more support.

I’m answering a few questions below about career/mindset coaching to help create awareness about how it can potentially support you or someone you know who may be struggling and open to support.

How can career coaching help?

With consistent coaching sessions to work through challenges. This can be done virtually with the gift of Google Meets and Zoom nowadays. You bring the concerns to work through. If you’re not sure what to work on, get a sense of what your goals are and check in with your thoughts and beliefs.

Coaching helps with blind spots that you cannot see. Work through patterns/habits that you may not be consciously aware of and patterns/habits that you may not have been able to resolve.

Coaching helps to create perspective. By releasing the charge on negative beliefs and/or emotions, you can find different perspectives. Perception is interpretation. Understand your reality in situations.

How to prepare for coaching?

Show up on time for calls, be willing to be coachable, and commit to doing the work.

Why career coaching and why now?

Ask yourself if you’re going to do whatever it takes to make it work for you.

Ask yourself what’s currently working and not working in your career. Are you ready to make a change, though unsure about how you’re going to navigate through the transition?
